Thank you for choosing an electric ride to cruise past traffic and reduce carbon emissions. As part of the flock, every ride you take truly makes a difference. Detach the three tabs located at the top of the packaging box. Open the box and pull the vehicle up from the neck. Peel off the tape holding the two foam casings together and set the vehicle on its side to separate the casings. Set aside the wrench and screw included in the hardware bag. Move the kickstand out before removing the vehicle from the remaining foam casing. With one hand on the neck and one hand on the deck, slide the vehicle out and place it on the ground. It should stand on its own with the kickstand out. Lift the neck over the aluminum tube, aligning the it with the bottom of the vertical tube. Click the neck assembly into place by pushing down on it. Take the included screw and push it through the center hole in the clamp. Install it with the included wrench to fasten the clamp. Using the same wrench, tighten the left clamp screw positioned near the deck. Then, tighten the two clamp screws on the opposite side. Once installed, tighten all four clamp screws again. Use the included power adapter and connect it to the charging port. If either are wet, wait for them to dry and then begin charging. Once assembled and charged, your Bird One will be ready to pair to the Bird app. Do not attempt to charge if the charging port or power adaptor is wet. The battery will not charge outside of these temperature limits. A well maintained battery can perform well even after many miles of riding. Charge the battery after each ride to avoid draining the battery completely. Do not attempt to disassemble the battery. Doing so could cause personal injury or property damage due to slips or falls.
